Our Process
Solutionology sessions are a structured, collaborative, proprietary process facilitated by Carl Douglass and Brian Douglass, founders of DI Labs. Sessions are used to help drive alignment among a diverse team of people around a problem, challenge or project.
They are designed to prepare teams for successful problem-solving by working through these 4 parts:
- Uncovering bias
- Revealing pain and opportunities
- Establishing focus and priorities
Uncovering Bias
The first step in a Solutionology Session is to uncover bias. Every team member comes with biases based on the role they play in an organization or process.
Surfacing Pain & Opportunities
The second step in a Solutionology Session is to identify the pain being experienced by the organization or team. Then we work together to identify opportunities.
Establishing Focus & Priorities
The last and most important part of a Session is to gain alignment about what areas to focus on and how to prioritize next steps for all involved.
