Additive Engineering Technician [Solutionologist] | Posted 03/29/2024

We are seeking a full-time Additive Engineering Technician to support and optimize our manufacturing process plans. This position will interact closely with our engineering team, production team, and solutions support team to ensure we are delivering first-class results to our internal and external customers.

We’re looking for an out-of-the-box thinker who can help us blaze new trails in the fast-paced additive manufacturing industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Own and optimize the digital build packing and unpacking process.
    • This role will work closely with the solutions support team and engineering team to organize customer data to produce usable build files.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team, production team, and quality team to support any process variation.
  • Provide regular updates for internal and external clients.
  • Identify and communicate manufacturing bottlenecks.
  • Collect and analyze data related to the manufacturing process.

 Support Responsibilities

  • Contribute to weekly/monthly reporting of activities and key performance metrics.
  • Develop standardized work instructions/SOPs.
  • Maintain document control.
  • Execute continuous improvement activities and projects.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to improve goals, KPIs, and action plans.
  • Identify and communicate process improvement Ideas.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Natural tendency to be curious, positive, and creative.
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or equivalent work experience supporting manufacturing technology. Proven work experience with additive manufacturing.
  • Experience with polymer based additive manufacturing (SLA, SLS, FDM, MJF).
  • Experience with navigating 3D software:
    • Examples: Magics, Blender, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.

Pay Range: $23 – $28 per hour
