Material: Nylon PA 11

Nylon Polyamide (PA) 11 is a 100% renewable bioplastic produced from oil derived from Castor plants. PA11 is perfect for functional prototypes and end-use applications requiring high impact strength, ductility, and chemical resistance.  PA11 is approved for skin contact and performs very well in parts with living hinges and snap features, making the material ideal for orthotics, prostheses, and medical devices. Parts produced in PA11 are naturally gray but can be dyed dark colors and can be smoothed and sealed using mechanical and chemical smoothing.
