Quality Control Technician [Solutionologist]

Job Summary

DI Labs is seeking a detail-driven Quality Control Technician to play a critical role in ensuring precision, repeatability, and compliance within our additive manufacturing (3D printing) operations. As an ITAR-registered contract manufacturer with ISO-certified processes, DI Labs is committed to the highest standards of quality and traceability.

This role focuses on inspecting printed and post-processed parts, maintaining digital quality records, and contributing observations that strengthen our production processes. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and passionate about producing consistent, reliable results that meet customer and regulatory expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of 3D printed and post-processed parts using visual, tactile, and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure conformance with client and internal specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate digital records in NetSuite and other internal systems in accordance with ISO and ITAR requirements.
  • Verify compliance with internal standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate quality findings constructively and clearly to workstream leads and production teams.
  • Assist in investigations of part quality concerns or client returns by collecting data and contributing to root cause analyses.
  • Support corrective and preventive action efforts (CAPA) and monitor their implementation and effectiveness over time.
  • Participate in calibration, care, and inventory of quality control tools and fixtures.
  • Maintain readiness for audits and ensure documentation meets all quality and traceability standards.
  • Actively engage in a culture of quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a quality or inspection-focused role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in identifying and documenting defects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management systems.
  • Ability to learn and adopt digital tools quickly (ERP systems, NetSuite preferred; iPads; inspection software).
  • Clear communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within ITAR-compliant manufacturing environments.
  • Dimensional inspection experience (CMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Background in additive or precision manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and curiosity for continuous learning.

Client Solutions Coordinator [Solutionologist]

Job Summary

The Client Solutions Coordinator provides tactical and administrative support to DI Labs’ Solutions Team, ensuring that client orders, communications, and documentation flow seamlessly through each stage of the process. This role supports the Project Manager, Client Solutions Engineer, and Solutions Support Specialist to maintain accuracy, responsiveness, and an exceptional client experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident using technology to manage tasks and communication. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership for accuracy, and builds trust through reliability and follow-through.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Client Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for clients during active projects.
  • Provide timely updates on order status, documentation, and delivery timelines.
  • Support the Solutions Team with follow-ups, scheduling, and client communication.
  • Maintain a positive, proactive, and professional tone in all interactions.

Order & Workflow Management

  • Enter and maintain accurate order and project details in NetSuite (ERP) and other systems.
  • Track client updates, order statuses, and documentation to ensure visibility and alignment across the Solutions team.
  • Support quoting, data entry, and workflow management to ensure all details are complete and accurate
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that client commitments are met on time and to specification.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Coordinate logistics for company events, client visits, and trade shows.
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and the Solutions team.
  • Maintain organized records aligned with ISO/QMS standards.

  • Orders and documentation are consistently accurate in NetSuite.
  • The Solutions Team operates efficiently due to reliable coordination and support.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, administrative, or coordination roles.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn, adopt, and fully utilize new software systems.
  • Strong proficiency with technology and business tools (ERP/CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, iPads, and digital recordkeeping).
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and accountability.
  • Experience in manufacturing or technical environments preferred but not required.
