Stereolithography (SLA)
Stereolithography, which uses a laser to cure liquid resin into hardened plastic, was one of the first 3D printing technologies and has since has become a highly evolved and powerful tool for projects with specific material requirements. We are able to produce parts with elastic materials as soft as 50 Shore A durometer to extremely stiff glass-filled materials SLA produces nearly isotropic parts with high accuracy, fine features, and a smooth surface. We commonly use SLA for concept models, early phase prototypes, form/fit testing, functional parts, and tools.
